Neem afstand van Shell voor dat het te laat is ........

 Wereldwijd maakt Royal Dutch Shell miljoenen slachtoffers. Waar dit Nederlandse bedrijf naar olie of gas boort, blijft een aangetast landschap achter.

• In Nigeria zagen duizenden vissers hun viswater veranderen in een olieplas.
• In Groningen voelen mensen zich onveilig in hun huis.
• Klimaatverandering als gevolg van olie- en gasproductie veroorzaakt nu al overstromingen, hongersnood en burgeroorlogen.
• Op Curaçao dumpte Shell een baai vol met asfalt en giftige stoffen.

Nu heeft Shell zijn pijlen gericht op de Noordpool. De kans op een olieramp bij oliewinning is in dit gebied 75 procent. De troep opruimen is door de barre omstandigheden vrijwel onmogelijk. En we hebben geen Noordpoololie nodig. Om de opwarming van de aarde te stoppen, moet deze voorraad juist in de grond blijven.

Koninklijke Nederlandse Shell kiest voor een oliezwarte toekomst. Maak duidelijk dat jij kiest voor een beschermde Noordpool en een veilig klimaat, en neem afstand van Shell.

7 MILJOEN  BESCHERMERS

Met meer dan 7 miljoen mensen voert Greenpeace actie voor de bescherming van de Noordpool. De resultaten mogen er zijn: een motie van de Tweede Kamer om de Noordpool te beschermen, steun van de Finse en Duitse regering, een resolutie van het Europees Parlement en belangrijker nog: steeds meer publieke steun.
