We all like a good scratch!In the past few weeks, our charity got a new and special toy – a giant scratching brush! When we installed it for the first time, we weren’t sure how the donkeys would react.
Then, something amazing happened...
The first donkey to approach it was Toffee, one of our most curious donkeys. He looked at the brush with interest, as if asking, "What is this? Is it for me?" As soon as he touched it with his nose, he understood how wonderful it was. Within minutes, he started scratching and enjoying himself, like he was at a donkey spa!
From that moment, the brush became the farm's biggest hit. Other donkeys lined up to try it, and now they use it all the time. Even the quietest and shyest donkeys suddenly had a reason to come closer and have fun.
