For more than seven decades, we’ve worked to transform the systems that fuel animal cruelty and suffering. 

As our movement has grown, we’ve inspired people, influenced businesses, and helped shape government policy to put animal welfare firmly on the global agenda.

Major campaigns

Our campaigns span the globe, tackling the root causes of animal suffering and addressing the global systems that fuel abuse. From ending bear dancing in Turkey, India, and Greece to calling out KFC's welfare policies with a 500,000-signature petition, we’ve made significant progress. We've slashed bear baiting events in Pakistan, launched the Global Ghost Gear Initiative to combat fishing waste, and protected dogs' lives in communities.

But the fight is far from over. People continue to trade, abuse, and kill animals on a horrifying scale, and our natural world is under unprecedented threat. The need to protect animals has never been more urgent.
