Wildlife SOS: Guess who's coming to dinner

HELPING INJURED BIRDS OF MAKAR SANKRANTI

Wildlife SOS collaborated with Eco Rescuers Foundation to host and fund a free Bird Treatment Camp in Malviya Nagar, Jaipur. The four-day camp was set up on the occasion of Makar Sankranti, a festival where bird casualties are at their highest due to rampant kite-flying.

LEOPARD CONSERVATION TRAINING FOR GUARDS

Every year Wildlife SOS collaborates with the forest department to host training for the future guardians of India’s forests. Our rescue operations form excellent case studies for the trainees taking part in the programme. They were also introduced to a variety of rescue equipment such as snare poles, safety nets, to name a few.

FIVE LEOPARDS RESCUED IN A MONTH

2022 ended on a dramatic note with multiple leopard rescues in Maharashtra. The Wildlife SOS team operating out of the Manikdoh Leopard Rescue Centre covered a lot of ground in the state, and ended up rescuing five leopards in a single month across three different forest ranges.
