Your weekly donkey update from Safe Haven for Donkeys
Dear Friends,
Our team over at the Sanctuary have been busy taking some wonderful photos of the donkeys in our care. You can see a selection in this week's e-news - it's truly heartwarming to see such happy donkeys.
And I must say thank you once again - the response to our Gaza appeal has been incredible. Thanks to you we have now raised nearly £70,000. This is remarkable and will mean we can commit to funding the mobile team in Gaza this year, as well as providing equipment, medicines and food.
If you missed the video I shared last week, sent over from Gaza, you can still view it on our website by clicking here.
Thank you so much.
With warmest wishes, Wendy, Safe Haven UK Office |

News from our Sanctuary
The donkeys have loved being out in the paddock at the Sanctuary, enjoying the warmer weather. Unfortunately the sunshine also means more flies - so you'll notice some of our donkeys are wearing 'trousers' to protect their legs from fly bites! |

Thanks to your support, our donkeys receive regular dental check ups to keep their teeth in tip top condition. |

The donkeys love to take a dust bath when the ground is dry. Here you can see David after his 'bath'. |

It's only with your help we are able to improve the lives of working donkeys, mules and horses in the West Bank, Gaza and Egypt. You're also helping to fund our hospital in Nablus in the West Bank and care for our rescue donkeys in Arrana, as well as our donkeys at our sanctuary in Israel. Your support makes a world of difference to donkeys.
